27 July to 30 July: Oxford
July 27th was day 10 of the tour. As we all know, after breakfast, there are no group activities. Usually I like to stay around for the last day to get a chance to relax and finish seeing any sights we missed with the tour. Today I was super anxious to leave because we were taking the train to Oxford to see my daughter! It had been four weeks, and I could not wait to give her a hug!
We spent the next three nights enjoying Oxford. While Rebecca finished up her classes, Mom and I explored the town. We toured Christ Church College, climbed the church tower for spectacular views, relived our childhood at the Storybook Museum and ATE! Rebecca, like a true student, had found all the best food in town!

30 July to 1 August: London
Our final adventure was a long weekend in London! We saw a musical, a play, and enjoyed several art museums. The best part, however, was touring Buckingham Palace. The Palace is only open for a few weeks late in the summer, and we were lucky to time our visit just right! It was amazing and we spent almost the whole day there touring the inside of the palace and the optional garden tour too. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch in the garden tea room. How can you pass up lunch at Buckingham Palace? It was the perfect ending to our month long adventure!
